Common troubleshooting
OmnixVPN won't connect on hotel or corporate Wi-Fi
Complete the network's browser sign-in page first, then connect OmnixVPN: captive portals block everything until you log in. If it still fails, toggle the connection off and on or pick another location. OmnixVPN is designed to connect through strict filtering.
My streaming service shows a proxy error
Switch to a different city in the same country: for example, Los Angeles instead of New York for US Netflix. Streaming services occasionally flag an IP, and a nearby server usually fixes it. If the error persists, contact support.
Per-app routing isn't working on my device
Check that OmnixVPN has VPN permission. On Android, go to Settings → Network → VPN → OmnixVPN and allow it, then reassign your apps. On Windows and macOS, restart the app after accepting the connection prompt shown at first launch.
A website still shows my old location after connecting
Reload the page after connecting: many sites cache your location. On mobile, sites may also read GPS, which a VPN doesn't change. If the IP address shown hasn't changed, disconnect, pick the country again, and reconnect.
